Farming our Hemp in Colorado
Creating a quality product has always been a part of our mission. Our hemp is grown and processed in America’s heartland so we can ensure the full chain of custody and quality with our founders’ oversight from field to bottle. We only use natural farming practices to produce not only a safe and reliable product, but one that minimizes the burden on the land. In fact, we help rejuvenate the soil during and after harvest of our hemp crop. We also avoid polluting the local environment while maintaining and clean product by utilizing natural pest control. This is done by employing predator species such as ladybugs and praying mantises.
The Rocky Mountains and the surrounding foothills are considered one of the world’s most majestic places, held sacred by its indigenous people. At an elevation of 5000 ft, we only use organic farming practices and labor-intensive, individualized plant care. With this, we have captured some of this mountain majesty in the hemp we grow. Our company is owned and operated by veterans who understand the nuances of the transition back to normalcy, which was part of our motivation in creating a trustworthy oil.
How we produce Zo CBD
While many companies use chemical solvents to extract hemp compounds like CBD, we took a different approach. We utilize chemical free extraction technology to collect and purify the amazing and unique compounds found in our products. After we harvest these compounds, they are purified further using a low temp distillation process to preserve the “minor phytocannabinoids”, like CBC and CBN. This processing and end formula allows us to stand out in a crowded industry not only because of the quality of our product, but also the efficacy and uniqueness of our profile.
